Here is a brief description of my daily work:

• Planning and purchase of software and hardware
• System and network administration on different platforms
  (Solaris, Linux (ubuntu, Fedora, Mosix), XP, Win2000, Vista, Windows7, Win2003 )
• User support
• Installation and maintenance of additional software packages
• Database support
• Backup, recovery
• Office products

Additional duties

• Support for research and teaching
• Facility management: rooms, keys, phones etc.
• Occupational health and safety (safety officer, first aider)
• Member of the faculty council
• Procurement and inventory
